Eija
Junior Outsourcing Consultant

In 2010, Eija Helenius had recently graduated and had decided to move to Switzerland. The reason for doing so was floorball. Eija had already represented Finland in the national floorball team and would be playing professionally on a Swiss team. At the same time, she worked in the finance department of a local Swedish company and became interested in financial management. Having returned to Finland, Eija wanted to learn more about this area of work and participated in a financial management training program. Her job training took place at Efima and eventually, the six-month training period turned into permanent employment.

From the outset, Eija has worked in Efima Outsourcing services. In the beginning, she handled purchase and travel invoices for the outsourcing customers. Later, Eija's task list extended to working as a service manager, including process and system development and user support. According to Eija, "In my job, I experience new challenges all the time and learn something new every day, which is really motivating."

Eija performs her tasks meticulously in order to satisfy the customer. This is why she believes her values support those of Efima as a company. "The best aspect about working for Efima is the working atmosphere," she says. "It's easy to talk about things and if you need help, everyone is ready to give a hand. And you can joke with everyone on the same terms," she laughs.

Eija still plays floorball in the Finnish league. She has been able to fit her working hours around this schedule as required. In the playing field, this forward wants to be good at passing the ball; the same appears to apply in her professional role at Efima.
