The collaboration between Helen and Efima is expanding significantly as Efima takes on the responsibility for producing and developing the financial management processes of Helen’s group companies. The partnership began in June, and Efima will officially start delivering the services from August 2025.
The scope of services includes accounting, fixed assets, purchase invoice processing and accounts payable, payments, as well as travel and expense claims. The partnership also involves continuous development and harmonization of financial processes across the entire group. Key objectives include streamlining long processes such as the procure-to-pay chain and standardizing accounting procedures.
Efima played a central role in delivering Helen’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution, which was implemented in spring 2025. The ERP system covers Helen’s project operations, maintenance, procurement, inventory, logistics, and financial management processes. The newly signed service agreement integrates Efima’s financial management expertise into Helen’s daily operations, enabling full utilization of the system and ongoing process development.
“Efima’s financial management experts impressed us already during the system implementation project. We are happy to deepen our collaboration with a partner that has strong capabilities to support us in both leveraging system solutions and optimizing financial processes”, says Timo Rajala, CFO of Helen.
“We are extremely proud of the trust Helen has placed in us. This partnership demonstrates our ability to deliver scalable and high-quality financial management services, leveraging our deep Microsoft expertise. We are familiar with the needs of energy sector operators and are committed to the long-term development of Helen’s financial processes”, says Sanna Kaarlejärvi, Business Director at Efima.
Efima serves several major energy sector companies in Finland – including Caruna, Tampereen Energia, and Lahti Energia – and has a deep understanding of the industry’s specific characteristics from both ERP and financial process perspectives.
