Newsec Property Asset Management – the full-service property house in Northern Europe – is developing its finance service center by renewing its financial management system. The company is replacing its old Tikon system with the modern, cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Newsec has chosen Efima Oy to implement D365 and to provide maintenance and development services for the new system.
In a large service center, the core IT system must support the efficient and high-quality production of financial services to a large number of customers. Processes must be defined in a rational manner, and automation as well as the necessary controls must work well and reliably.
Newsec wants to ensure a highly standardized operating model, but at the same time respond to customer-specific needs. The company has a strong industry focus, and the solution now being delivered has been selected based on its ability to supports the special needs of the real estate industry.
Newsec’s CFO Kari Kainulainen considers the new system to be a significant development step in the company’s service center operations. “Thanks to the new system, we are able to better serve our existing and new customers. D365 responds well to the needs of the real estate industry, enabling the efficient production of high-quality and highly automated financial management services that also serve the individual needs of our customers. It is a platform with which we can continue to grow in the future”, he says.
“Newsec is a great new customer for us, which further strengthens our position as Finland's leading supplier of Dynamics 365. Our service center expertise from e.g. Sarastia and our own financial management outsourcing business, as well as our strong experience in the real estate industry with Senate Properties and Maakuntien tilakeskus projects, help us offer Newsec the most fit-for-purpose solution to be the digital heart of their business”, says Kai Lyytinen, Efima's ERP Business Director.
In addition to D365, the system solution to be delivered to Newsec includes the Efima Layer extension, Yavica Flexproperty and Data Management, and AMC Banking.
