Our client, a leading Nordic logistics services provider, was looking for a solution for supplier relationship management and an easier way to manage the time-consuming and complex supplier information management process. The process was based on the use of the ERP system as well as on various manual Excel files and e-mail communication. Improvement and automation were also needed in the quality of supplier data, as the checks of prohibited lists and the manual processing of bank accounts took extra time. The user-friendly SRM offered an answer to this.

With the SRM App, entering new supplier information and ensuring up-to-date supplier information is automated. For example, the company name, business ID, prepayment register (ennakkoperintärekisteri, EPR) validity period and risk classification can be obtained automatically from the information service using the SRM App.

The processes of creating new suppliers and managing changes are managed in now uniformly and in accordance with the regulations. When the user takes actions along the supplier management process in the App, it's also possible to attach documents, procedures and notes to the supplier information, among other things. As a result, up-to-date supplier information is easily available and process becomes more efficient.
