Case Coronaria | Boosting doctors' daily workflow with Microsoft Power Apps

One of Finland's largest companies providing healthcare services, Coronaria, aims to offer its healthcare professionals the best tools in the industry. Together with Efima, they developed a Power Apps-based application that allows healthcare professionals to manage their work shifts across different clients and record their work tasks in one place.

Professionals in healthcare industry often work for various customer organizations and the procedures concerning billing for example, take out time from actual professional work. Different compensation models and customer billing procedures are often challenging from the service provider's perspective as the procedures are often complex and manual.  

Coronaria wanted to optimize their professionals' workdays by offering new ways to fill in work tasks. The solution was the Expert's Desktop App, provided by Efima.

Expert's Desktop App enables automated routines

Expert's Desktop App, developed by Efima, is a solution that automates the collection of work performances from the professionals with an easy-to-use and self-service application. The application replaces old Excel files and emails as customer billing and professionals' fees are based on the work performances registered in the app. The needed materials for accounting and payroll department are also formed in the app and provided straight to use of right department. 

On top of making registration of work performances easier, the solution enables planning and offering additional work shifts to professionals. With the help of Expert's Desktop App professionals can accept shifts and later start the shift before registering any work performances in the app.
