06.02.2015 | Efima, developer of business processes and financial management, was rated Finland’s 7th best working place in the general series (50–499 employees) in the Great Place to Work Finland 2015 survey published today.

Efima, developer of business processes and financial management, was rated Finland’s 7th best working place in the general series (50–499 employees) in the Great Place to Work Finland 2015 survey published today. Efima participated for the third time in row; this year in the general category, having passed the 50-employee milestone last year. Growth continues and the internationalization is underway. Efima estimates it will recruit more than 40 experts in 2015. A recruitment campaign is presently going on.

Efima offers software for financial management and process planning and is one of Finland’s fastest growing service companies. The company strongly believes that investments in the competence and wellbeing of the personnel improve their satisfaction and consequently help them do their best for customers.

Maintaining wellbeing at work as a key corporate goal is particularly important in times of rapid growth. Nurturing company culture is part of everyday work. The more actively the personnel participates, the better the results.

“The development of a good workplace and corporate culture,  and nurturing the good things we already have, are constantly on our minds,” says Efima’s CEO Tero Salminen. “We spend time together thinking what being an efimanian actually is. It is important to define such things together. For instance, we have only recently started to describe our values. The process takes months, and everyone participates. Efimania also refers to individualism. Though we speak about efimania, it does not mean that everyone should be cast in the same mold.”

Great Place to Work consultant Hanna Chiorazzo describes Efima: “Efima is again one of Finland’s best workplaces. Efima’s principle is that all employees enjoy working at the company. According to efimanians this principle is true and is reflected in the trust between the management and the employees. An important feature in Efima’s participatory corporate culture is motivating personnel and celebrating success. Efima also invests a lot in the development of employee competence. Efima is growing steadily, and has managed to support its team through successful recruitments. We are glad and proud that Efima’s goal to be a good place to work has contributed to its success.”
